According to OnePlus CEOs, the company is set to release 4 major Android updates and support 5 years of security patches for some of its devices launching in 2023. This special privilege is likely to be extended only to the latest OnePlus flagship models. We can anticipate that the upcoming OnePlus 11 series will be part of this new update plan.
Discussing the change in the company's update strategy, Gary Chen, Head of OnePlus Software Product, stated:

The upcoming software will be named OxygenOS 13.1, focusing on safety and security features, including the latest version of OnePlus's Private Safe. The company also affirmed that OxygenOS 14 is in development with numerous new features.
