Ông Đồ Street in Saigon officially welcomes travelers
On January 9, 2020, Ông Đồ Street – one of the liveliest check-in spots in the days leading up to Tet – officially opened its doors, welcoming visitors.


This marks the 14th consecutive year that Ông Đồ Street on Phạm Ngọc Thạch Street has been organized, attracting a bustling crowd for photos and calligraphy. Each booth is adorned with a Tet atmosphere. All calligraphers don áo dài (Vietnamese traditional dress) and conical hats while crafting calligraphy. This year features about 10 booths with female calligraphers.

Upon arrival, you'll find yourself amidst a space filled with the traditional Tet atmosphere in Vietnam, featuring miniature scenes, vibrant golden apricot blossom gardens. This year, Ông Đồ Street introduces additional unique check-in points: four traditional craft villages including the pottery village, bamboo craft village, incense village, and silk village, all exquisitely splendid, making it a distinctive highlight compared to previous years. This is an opportunity for you to gain a deeper understanding of the unique charm of these traditional craft villages.

In addition, Mr. Do Street this year introduces a variety of new and exciting activities such as decorating majestic apricot trees, a culinary street featuring traditional Vietnamese dishes, and an artist performance program with booths selling vintage clothes to raise funds for children's spring festivities,..
