The majority of travelers participating in the survey stated that images and reviews posted online by other travelers influenced their decisions on accommodations, flights, dining options, and entertainment for their trips.
Prior to making final decisions, travelers always spend significant time browsing the internet to gather information related to destinations, itineraries, and experiences from previous travelers.
50% of travelers affirm they never book a hotel without any reviews posted. Particularly, French travelers highly value hotels that respond adaptively to guest feedback. Moreover, over 60% of travelers are willing to book a hotel based on other travelers' online recommendations.
If receptiveness is delicately demonstrated with adaptive changes, 87% of international travelers assert they will enhance their perceptions of hotels, even overcoming initial negative impressions. Conversely, 70% of travelers state they will steer clear of hotels lacking adequate responses to customer feedback.
Additionally, 74% of travelers express feeling 'joyful when sharing information and images of their travel journeys' and believe this will be beneficial to other travelers. 70% of travelers indicate they are willing to share travel experiences with others when given the opportunity.
