(Homeland) - LMHT players find this effect quite puzzling and unimpressive, which is why Riot doesn't let it appear on many champions.
Since the release of League of Legends (LoL), attack speed has always been a fundamental stat for every champion in the game. For the Marksman class, attack speed plays an extremely important role as it greatly influences the damage output. For this reason, attack speed appears in all Mythic items for Marksmen.

To counter this stat, the attack speed reduction effect was introduced as a natural element in LMHT. However, currently, only 4 champions and 1 item possess this effect. Specifically, champions like Fiora (W - Riposte), Malphite (E - Ground Slam), Nasus (W - Wither), and Mordekaiser (R - Realm of Death) have the ability to reduce the attack speed of their opponents.

As for items, Frozen Heart is the only item in LMHT that has the attack speed reduction effect. Before patch 10.23, Randuin's Omen also had the ability to reduce the attack speed of opponents, but it was removed. Lee Sin also used to have this effect with his E - Tempest, but the ability to slow attack speed was removed in patch 4.13 many years ago.

According to the LMHT community, the attack speed slow effect is a very difficult ability to accurately identify. Meanwhile, control effects such as stun, knock-up, and slow can be easily recognized. Perhaps to avoid confusion for players in the LMHT gaming process, Riot only allows a few champions and items to possess the attack speed slow effect.
However, with only 4 champions and 1 item having this effect, it remains too scarce compared to the total number of LoL characters (162). The community is eagerly hoping that Riot will introduce the attack speed reduction effect for some champions in the future. This could open up additional ways to counter Marksmen, the group of champions reliant on attack speed, and make LMHT more diverse.
