However, according to the latest data provided by Google, Android 13 is currently installed on only 5.2% of Android devices despite being available for 5 months.

In recent years, Google has not officially shared statistics about its Android operating system, but Android Studio recently released a report for 2023, showing us how quickly OEMs have adopted the new operating system.

Currently, Android 13 is running on 5.2% of total devices, while Android 12 and Android 12L account for 18.9%. This marks a significant increase from just 13.5% since August 2022. As newer Android versions are becoming more popular, older versions are declining, with Android Oreo finally dropping below 10%. Interestingly, the Jelly Bean OS, previously found on 0.3% of devices, is no longer on the list.
Meanwhile, KitKat has decreased from 0.9% in August 2022 to 0.7% in 2023. Hopefully, in the coming months, manufacturers like Google will actively work to bring the Android 13 update to more users.
