To open and delete the list of downloaded files on Firefox, you can follow these methods:
Method 1: Click on the download icon at the top left corner of the browser as shown in the image.
Next, select the file you want to open and then click the mouse.
- If you want to remove the downloaded file from the list, right-click and choose Remove from History
Method 2: Click on the tool icon and then hover over the Downloads option (you can also use the shortcut key Ctrl+J). The Download window will appear.
- Select the file you wish, then click on it. Next, right-click and choose Remove from History to delete from the downloaded files list.
After that, the downloaded file will be removed from the list.
Removing downloaded files stored in the list will improve the performance of your Firefox browser and prevent the hassle of searching for many downloaded files when the download list becomes too long.
