

For accommodation, guests can choose to stay at guesthouses, homestays, or beachside tents. Con Co Island is powered 24/7 to cater to tourists. In the long run, the island will be supplied electricity from the national grid via underwater cables.
To preserve the environment, Con Co Island advocates against plastic bags, urging tourists to leave all plastic bags on the mainland. The island welcomes visitors for nine months each year.
Located in the southern part of the Bac Bo Gulf, Con Co Island serves as an important international air and sea gateway. Con Co Island District was established in October 2004, covering an area of about 2.3 km² and located 15-17 nautical miles from the mainland. Currently, there are approximately 10 households living on the island.
In 2017, Quang Tri Province planned to recruit an additional 10 households to settle on Con Co Island.
