In a recent blog post, Opera announced a remarkable surge in Opera Touch downloads in North America and Europe last year. The company's Product Director, Mr. Jona Bolin, believes that iOS users opted for Opera over their default web browser after the release of iOS 14. They were attracted by features such as Speed Dial, ad blocker, cookie dialog blocker, cross-device syncing with Flow, protection against cryptocurrency mining, and user-friendly e-wallet.
Opera Touch developers have placed a strong emphasis on aesthetics in the browser's design since its launch on iOS on October 1, 2018. Opera Touch has earned accolades such as the Red Dot Design Award 2018 and the iF Design Award 2019. The latest update is now available on the App Store. Opera also supports Windows, Mac, and Linux and can be synchronized with the mobile app through Opera Flow.
