Opera officially unveils Opera Touch for iPhone

Opera has officially announced the release of Opera Touch, an advanced browser for Apple's iPhone platform. According to Opera, users in the United States predominantly use the default Safari browser on iOS, and Safari's only advantage is being set as the default browser.

Opera officially launches Opera Touch for iPhone, following months of availability on the Android platform. Prior to this, Opera Touch for iPhone underwent a closed beta testing phase. Selected users received invitations to identify and address any issues before the official release.

In its promotional video for the new browser, Opera playfully takes a dig at the apple icon, suggesting that Safari's primary strength lies in being the default browser.

A notable feature of Opera Touch is its unique search bar placed at the center of the interface upon opening the app, allowing users to start browsing more quickly. The Fast Action button provides quick access to the search bar, open tabs, and browser controls. Additionally, Opera Touch can sync with Opera web browsers on desktop using QR code synchronization.
