The OPPO A12 is said to feature a 6.22-inch HD+ LCD display with a waterdrop notch housing a 5 MP selfie camera with an aperture of F/2.0. At the rear, the OPPO A12 comes with dual cameras, including a 13 MP main sensor with an aperture of F/2.2 and a 2 MP depth sensor. The device is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 processor.

There will be two variants of the OPPO A12: one with 3 GB RAM + 32 GB ROM, and the other with 4 GB RAM + 64 GB ROM. The OPPO A12 features a 4,230 mAh battery, running ColorOS 6.1.2 based on Android 9. This might disappoint some OPPO fans as most newly released smartphones nowadays run on Android 10.
The OPPO A12 measures 155.9 x 75.5 x 8.3 mm and weighs 165g. Its back is covered in plastic but still features a shiny diamond pattern. Additionally, the back of the device also includes a fingerprint sensor.
