World's Thinnest Smartphone: The Oppo R5 was introduced in 2014. With a thickness of only 4.85 mm, this device was considered the thinnest smartphone in the world at that time. In addition to its impressive thinness, the metal frame with sharp cuts and the combination of ceramic and premium plastic materials give the R5 a sophisticated design, while also preventing fingerprint smudges and providing better heat dissipation.
The Red and Blue versions of the F9 boast dazzling color-shifting effects similar to diamond patterns when viewed from different angles. The device is crafted from luxurious and durable organic glass. Along with its sleek and modern square design, the balanced curves provide a reassuring grip.
In addition to its impressive back design, Oppo introduces a 'waterdrop' display on the F9, with a smaller and more aesthetically pleasing notch compared to the 'rabbit ears' display. The 'shark-fin' style selfie camera design not only creates a focal point for the device but also helps widen the borderless screen, without being obstructed by waterdrop or rabbit ear notches. The Reno series is expected to be Oppo's line of creatively inspiring smartphones.
