For those unaware, OPPO made its entry into the tablet market last year with the first-generation OPPO Pad, initially featuring the Snapdragon 870 processor. However, upon its arrival in Vietnam, it transitioned to the Snapdragon 680, somewhat diminishing its appeal. At the recent launch event of the flagship Find X6 Series, OPPO officially introduces the OPPO Pad 2, packed with significant upgrades.
The OPPO Pad 2 boasts an 11.61-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2800 x 2000 pixels, Dolby Vision support, and a 7:5 aspect ratio. It also offers a maximum brightness of 500 nits, a 144Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color depth, and an impressive 88% screen-to-body ratio.
Powering the device is the Dimensity 9000 processor, set to debut in the Pad 2 expected to launch in April this year. Additionally, the OPPO Pad 2 supports up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of storage with UFS 3.1.
Furthermore, the OPPO Pad 2 comes equipped with an impressive camera system, featuring a 13MP rear sensor with 4K@30fps video recording capability. On the front, OPPO provides an 8MP selfie camera for 1080p@30fps video recording. The entire device is crafted from a single block of aluminum and toughened glass to ensure durability. It will be available in two color options: Light Feather Gold and Nebula Grey.
OPPO Pad 2 will come with ColorOS 13 interface pre-installed, designed for tablets running on the latest Android 13 operating system, offering a smooth and user-friendly experience. The product features a 9510mAh battery providing good usage time and supports 67W fast charging.
Finally, essential connections such as Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and USB-C port are all equipped. Moreover, the device will be compatible with both the OPPO Pencil 2 and detachable keyboards for professional use, although there will be no SIM-supported version available. It can be said that OPPO Pad 2 is a rebranded version of the recently launched Pad.
The pricing details of the product will be listed below for each variant to give you a clear understanding. The official release is expected on March 24th, and there is no information yet regarding global availability.
- The 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM variant is priced at 2,999 CNY (approximately 10.2 million VND).
- The 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM variant is priced at 3,399 CNY (approximately 11.6 million VND).
