Guide to setting up automatic computer shutdown with PowerOff
Step 1: Download and install the application on your computer: Get PowerOff
Step 2: Launch the software with an interface as shown below, integrating key functions for your usage
- Section Action: Encompasses activities you want to set up, such as: Logoff, Reboot (restart), Shutdows (shutdown), Standby, Hibernate, Lock, Wake-On-LAN, Turn off monitor, Turn on monitor, ...
- Section When: Set the time for performing activities under: Immediate, Scheduled (time settings), After a process stops (after any program stops running).
- In this article, Mytour provides an example of setting up automatic shutdown. For other activities, you can follow a similar process.
+ First, click on Shutdows (shutdown), in the When section, choose Scheduled to set up automatic shutdown time.
+ In the dialog that appears, set the automatic shutdown time in the Time, Date section. Then press OK to save the settings.
- Additionally, you can configure the computer to shut down automatically when any program stops running by clicking on After a process stops, selecting the running program. Finally, press Do it to execute the command.
