II. Sample Essay: Describing the Junior High School where I am currently enrolled

The school I attend is Minh Khai Junior High School, a school with a rich history and noble traditions. Although I have only been at this school for less than a year, to me, it is not only beautiful but also very dear.

The school campus is located in a spacious area, surrounded by solid concrete walls about 2 meters high, providing a secure environment. In front of the school gate is a major road, facing rows of closely-packed houses and shops. Two banyan trees stand on either side of the gate, their wide green foliage covering the gate pillars, sometimes requiring trimming to reveal the school name sign. The school grounds are extensive, the largest in the area, and beautifully maintained.
