As the envoy of the sixth Hung king, I was tasked with a crucial mission during a time when our nation faced the invasion of the An aggressors. The king sent me far and wide to find a hero who could defeat the enemy and save our land.
While passing through the village of Gióng, I was invited into a house by an elderly woman. Upon seeing me, a three-year-old child spoke, 'Go back to the king and have him provide me with an iron horse, an iron whip, and an iron armor. I will shatter this enemy horde.' I was completely astonished and amazed by these words. The boy was Thánh Gióng, with a striking appearance and intelligence. His parents, hardworking and virtuous, had been childless for many years. One day, while in the fields, his mother saw a large footprint and stepped on it curiously. She became pregnant and gave birth to Thánh Gióng after twelve months.
