Outlook Lite now officially launched for Android, but not yet available in Vietnam
Other features introduced in the description include small storage size, fast performance, low battery consumption, and connectivity on all networks (including 2G). However, it seems that core functions of Outlook such as inbox, calendar, search, contacts, and spam protection are still not implemented.
Additionally, Outlook Lite is currently only available in some countries and not yet supported in Vietnam. The list of these countries includes: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, India, Mexico, Peru, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, and Venezuela.
From the above list, it can be seen that Microsoft is trying to penetrate emerging markets where budget Android devices are more prevalent. Users living in one of the listed countries can download and install Outlook Lite directly from the Google Play Store.
