Upon arriving at the temple, visitors will be awestruck by the unique architecture and vibrant colors of this Khmer temple. The temple includes the main hall, a relic-preserving hall, and a Buddhist meditation hall, each with its own beautiful architectural style, exuding both solemnity and intimacy.

According to our research, this temple belongs to the Southern Khmer Buddhist sect, constructed in 1860. The first consecration ceremony was held in 1872. After more than 150 years, Ghositaram Temple faced deterioration, leading the temple's leadership to rebuild the main hall at the end of 2001. After approximately 10 years of construction, the main hall was inaugurated in the middle of 2010. The temple's main hall covers an area of over 400m2, stands approximately 40m tall, and showcases intricate carvings, embossed bas-reliefs, and artistic patterns of high artistic value.

Ghositaram Temple can be regarded as one of the most spacious and architecturally beautiful Khmer temples in Bac Lieu, specifically, and the Mekong Delta region, in general.
