Tien Yen is a land of abundance, where nature bestows the majestic beauty of mountains, forests, and flowing rivers. A visit here is incomplete without experiencing Pac Sui Waterfall, a unique highlight in Tien Yen tourism.
Pac Sui Waterfall – An alluring eco-tourism spot in the mountainous area of Tien Yen

Pac Sui Waterfall is located in the Pạc Sủi village, the highlands of Tien Yen district. The waterfall is celebrated as the place where dawn awakens, entwined with the legendary story of the King of Roosters, a symbol of strength, perseverance, and the yearning to summon the sunrise and dispel the dark shadows.

Following the winding road approximately 8km from Tien Yen town, a magnificent natural panorama unfolds before visitors. Pac Sui Waterfall boasts cascading water spanning several kilometers, originating from the summit of Buffalo Back Mountain, traversing 16 waterfall tiers adorned with numerous uniquely shaped rock formations.

Each tier exhibits a distinct beauty, and below the first 2 tiers, a small pristine water pond emerges. The tiers of Pac Sui Waterfall above are always more enchanting than those below. Some tiers have steep vertical slopes, with water flowing vigorously and foaming white, while others are gently flowing with a soothing murmur, reminiscent of the flowing locks of a young girl.

Known as Pac Sui Waterfall (White Water) due to its water cascading from a height, creating a foamy white spectacle amidst the mountains. Recently, the waterfall has transformed into a captivating eco-tourism destination, enticing visitors to linger.

Previously, reaching Pac Sui Waterfall required a challenging trek through the forest. However, now, transportation has become convenient, with cars able to reach the foot of the waterfall thanks to a fully concrete road connecting from National Highway 18A.

Especially recently, Tien Yen district invested over 10 billion VND in upgrading infrastructure, including a spacious concrete parking lot, an accessible car road to the base of the waterfall, 2 stone-paved walking paths, 3 bridges over streams, wooden-like staircases, and more.

When at Pac Sui Waterfall, you can walk along the stone steps on both sides to admire the beauty of the waterfall tiers and comfortably appreciate the natural scenery. Visitors can also ascend the rock formations against the current to explore the upper tiers or sit and relax on the rocks, immersing themselves in the cool water.

Around the base of the waterfall, various new and unique tourism services have emerged to meet the needs of visitors, especially those provided by the Dao Thanh Phan ethnic community in the Tien Yen mountainous region.

Numerous culinary delights have also been introduced, with the most unique offerings being local specialties such as Tien Yen chicken, grilled local pork, rustic cakes, multicolored sticky rice, or Khau Nhuc. Additionally, services like traditional costume rentals, campsite furniture rentals, and boat rentals are available.

Amidst the lush green mountains, Pac Sui Waterfall appears like a mountain nymph, gracefully enchanting at times and fiercely determined at others. Regardless of the season, the weather here remains cool and refreshing. Pac Sui Waterfall can be described as a priceless gift bestowed upon Tien Yen by nature.
