1. What you need to know about the 'Self-declaration of Vaccination' feature on PC Covid
Recently, the Department of Computerization (Ministry of IT & Telecommunications) added the 'Self-declaration of Vaccination' feature to the PC Covid app for iPhone and iPad users. It is anticipated that the upcoming version for Android will be updated soon.
Under the 'Document Wallet' section in the PC Covid app, users can view information related to disease prevention, such as vaccine certificates, test results, travel permits, and more. Currently, the app integrates the feature to declare and store available vaccine certificates, while other documents are still being updated.
With the 'Self-declaration of Vaccination' feature, users can be flexible, convenient, and proactive in storing and providing information for disease prevention support. In case the system update is incorrect or lacks vaccine doses, users can go to the app, search for the 'Self-declaration of Vaccination' section, then select 'Edit Vaccine Information' and fill in details such as vaccine type and date of administration. Users can then upload their 'Vaccine Certificate' photo.
Afterward, the PC Covid app will display the number of vaccinations based on user-entered information, accompanied by the label 'Self-declaration' to distinguish it from the system's automated data. Users can also review submitted documents by accessing the 'Menu' and selecting Document Wallet.
