The National Center for Disease Control Technology has announced that PC Covid has integrated a feature to alert users at risk of exposure to F0. The application will send notifications to users who have been to locations with F0 cases or have traveled on vehicles with F0 cases, or had close contact with F0.
In addition, the application will also alert users when they scan QR codes before or after an hour compared to the time F0 scanned the code at the same location. This feature can automatically alert people to locations with F0 cases for convenient health monitoring. This enables everyone to take timely preventive measures against the pandemic.

PC Covid is an application developed through collaboration between Bkav, Viettel, and VNPT as part of the nationwide deployment plan for Covid-19 prevention applications. It is operated by the National Center for Disease Control Technology. The responsible authorities include the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Public Security, and the Ministry of Information & Communications.
According to information from the Ministry of Information and Communications, as of February 9th, the number of PC Covid application users has increased to 25.3 million, accounting for 36.85% of the population and 53.01% of smartphones. The top 10 provinces and cities with the highest installation rates of PC-Covid on the population are Binh Duong, Quang Ninh, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Bac Ninh, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Hanoi, Khanh Hoa, Dong Nai, and Bac Giang. The provinces with the lowest installation rates of PC-Covid include Lai Chau, Bac Lieu, Dien Bien, Nghe An, and Ha Giang.
