It's hilarious that LMHT fails in all gaming categories voted by its own players.
In recent years, we've all become quite familiar with gaming awards like The Game Awards or Esports Awards. These awards are created to honor outstanding games, developers each year as well as top athletes and content creators.

For those who love LMHT in particular and Riot Games' games in general, they also organize their own awards this year. This award is named after its creator - Necrit, who is an extremely dedicated YouTuber to the LMHT storyline and has been attached to this game for a long time. The results of the Necrit Awards 2021 include:
Best champion design of the year: Vex.

Best soundtrack: Gwen.
Outfit of the year: Stick with Crank on Blitz forever.
Best lore champion: Sona.
Most promising lore champion: Yasuo.

Best supporting character: Von Yip.
Best short story: Final Chapter of Soates, author - Matt Dunn.
Best newly revealed lore: Shimmer.
Most creatively crafted content: Hextech upgrade system of Teamfight Tactics.
Riot's best game: Ruined King.

As mentioned earlier, this award ceremony is highly satirical. Despite being created to honor Riot's games, LoL came out empty-handed in all gaming categories. Particularly, in the 'Most creatively crafted content' and 'Best Riot game' awards, both the Ultimate Spellbook mode and LoL itself failed.
Even in the 'Best short story' category, it was awarded to the work Final Chapter of Soates by writer Matt Dunn. If you recall, Riot Games terminated their contract with him despite knowing Dunn was in a very difficult situation. This award is nothing but a mockery aimed directly at Riot for firing their most talented writer.

Fairly speaking, LMHT's failure at a player-organized award ceremony is relatively understandable. The game itself has been facing numerous issues regarding champion balance, items, runes... leading to a worsening player experience.

Meanwhile, Riot's other games have performed much better in these aspects. For example, the hextech upgrade system of Teamfight Tactics has been highly praised by many players for creating unique and extremely enjoyable gameplay. Or Ruined King, which provides a completely new experience and helps players understand more about familiar characters like Yasuo, Ahri...

Of course, the awards above are just for fun and hold no real value in terms of achievements for Riot. However, they do indicate that LoL is facing numerous issues with gameplay, balance, and dissatisfied players.
