Before diving into a more detailed review, let's take a look at the specifications of the realme C35!

• Display: 6.6-inch size, IPS LCD panel, Full HD+ resolution (1,080 x 2,408 pixels).
• CPU: Unisoc T616 (12nm process).
• RAM: 4 GB.
• Internal storage: 64 GB.
• Rear Camera: 50 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP resolution respectively.
• Front Camera: 8 MP resolution.
• Battery capacity: 5,000 mAh, supports 18W fast charging.
• Operating System: Android 11, Realme UI R.

realme C35 is powered by the Unisoc T616 octa-core chipset, with a maximum clock speed of 2 GHz manufactured on a 12nm process. With what the Unisoc T616 brings, the realme C35 is fully capable of handling daily basic tasks such as calling, watching movies, and light entertainment with suitable graphics settings for games.

Paired with that, realme C35 is also equipped with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, which is sufficient capacity to meet basic usage needs and help the device operate more smoothly. Performance Assessment of realme C35

In this section, I will use some common software such as GeekBench 5, 3Dmark, and PCMark to give you a more visual and clear understanding of the power that realme C35 brings. The conditions for specific scoring are as follows:

• The device battery must be between 90 - 100%.
• Do not charge the battery while scoring.
• Score 3 times continuously and take the average result after 3 scoring sessions.

First, I will use GeekBench 5 and PCMark to assess the performance, here are the results:

- GeekBench 5:

• Single/Multi-core score: 367 points / 1,381 points.
• GPU Compute (graphics score): 587 points.

- PCMark: 7,948 points.

These numbers are enough to show that the realme C35 performs quite well compared to other competitors in the same segment, and what surprises me is that the results are only a few points different from what the realme C35 achieved 6 months ago. Next, I will use the 3DMark app with the Wild Life Extreme test to check the overall performance of the realme C35.

With this test, a score of 129 points and an average frame rate of 0.8 FPS show almost no change compared to before, and we can easily see that the realme C35 is almost unaffected even after 6 months of use. To further challenge the realme C35, I also tried using the most demanding test in this section, which is the 3DMark Wild Life Extreme Stress Test, and surprisingly, the realme C35 can run this test quite well.

Through the stability test of a device operating for a long time with heavy tasks, realme C35 scored 128 points with a stability rate of 96.9%. However, during this test, I noticed that the realme C35 was almost operating at full capacity, so the device's temperature increased quite rapidly, specifically rising from 31 to 36 degrees, which also caused the battery level to decrease from 97% to 95%. Overall, although the realme C35 can handle heavy tasks, I personally think it would be more suitable for basic tasks rather than high-end ones! So, how well does the realme C35 perform with gaming tasks?

The gaming performance of realme C35 is quite decent

To answer the question above, I will conduct a gaming performance test of realme C35 with some popular games such as Arena of Valor, Play Together, PUBG Mobile, and ZingSpeed Mobile. Assisting me in this test is the PerfDog app, and I will provide detailed results along with the graphics settings of realme C35 for each game here for your reference!

• Arena of Valor

Starting with the first game, Arena of Valor, this is a popular combat game among Vietnamese youth, especially Gen Z. Therefore, I will prioritize smooth gameplay and clear graphics to enhance the gaming experience. Specifically, I will set the graphics for this game to the highest level that the device can handle. You can refer to the graphics settings I used below!

It seems like the realme C35 has performed quite well with the graphics settings above in this game, the in-game actions are smooth. During the experience, the average FPS reached 53.5 and there were occasional FPS drops when engaging in 5 vs 5 battles and during intense exchanges. This phenomenon occurs not too frequently and does not significantly affect my experience, but in my opinion, you should lower the image quality settings for an even better gaming experience!

• PUBG Mobile

Moving on to another game with relatively heavy graphics on the current market, PUBG Mobile. In this game, I will continue to prioritize smooth gameplay and clear graphics, so I will set the frame rate to High and the graphics quality to HD, which is the highest setting supported by the realme C35.

Surprisingly, in this shooting game, the realme C35 performed very well with an average FPS of 29.9/30 and there were almost no sudden FPS drops during testing. This result is quite surprising to me because PUBG Mobile is a game with many scene changes, and its details and graphics are considered high-end, yet the realme C35 performed very well during my experience.

• Play Together

Next up is a very popular game among young people lately - Play Together. In this game, the specific graphics settings I'll use are shown below for your reference!

Similar to PUBG Mobile, the realme C35 also performs quite well in the game Play Together with an average FPS of 59.2/60. There are a few instances of significant and sudden drops when participating in the 'Game Party' and returning to the main interface. However, overall, compared to other competitors, the realme C35 has performed very well in this game. During my experience, there were hardly any delays or screen freezes, so I believe you'll have a similar experience with this game as I did!

realme C35 boasts a sizable 5,000 mAh battery for continuous usage of up to 7 hours

Not only does realme C35 offer commendable performance within its price range, but it also features a relatively impressive battery capacity compared to current market standards. So, how long can the realme C35 last with its aforementioned battery? To answer this question, let's dive into the battery test section (following the standards of The Gioi Di Dong) to evaluate how long the 5,000 mAh battery of the realme C35 can sustain various tasks. This test will be conducted under specific conditions as follows:

• Experience 4 rotating tasks including: Playing Liên Quân (configured as shown below), watching YouTube, browsing Facebook, and using the browser (Chrome).

• Each task lasts for 1 hour.
• Screen brightness set to 100%.
• External speaker enabled with 50% volume.
• Wi-Fi and social media notifications turned on.
• Battery saving mode, adaptive brightness, GPS, and Bluetooth turned off.
• Tested from 100% to 0%.

Below are the results of the battery test conducted on the realme C35:

From the conducted test, it's evident that the realme C35's battery life of 7 hours and 30 minutes is quite impressive for an entry-level smartphone with a 5,000 mAh battery. However, compared to the general standard, it still falls slightly short of some competitors in the same segment. Nevertheless, with such usage time, the realme C35 can effectively meet basic usage needs throughout a long day. It's worth noting that this test was conducted under rigorous conditions with the screen at maximum brightness and without battery saving mode, so without these factors, the battery life could be even better.

To provide you with a more visual understanding of the impressive battery life of realme C35, I also conducted an additional continuous gaming test (with 4 game titles in the gaming test section) on the realme phone to see how long the battery lasts with each game. Specific conditions were as follows:

• Play only one game until the phone's battery drains (from 100% to 0%).
• Screen brightness set to 100%.
• External speaker enabled with 50% volume.
• Wi-Fi and social media notifications turned on.
• Battery saving mode, adaptive brightness, GPS, and Bluetooth turned off.
• Tested from 100% to 0%.

Below are the results of the battery test conducted on the realme C35:

• PUBG Mobile: 4 hours 59 minutes.
• Liên Quân Mobile: 5 hours 28 minutes.
• Play Together: 5 hours 32 minutes.
• ZingSpeed Mobile: 5 hours 56 minutes.

From the results above, it can be seen that realme C35 still performs quite well as all 4 games can run for 5 hours or more. Compared to 6 months ago, this figure is still slightly lower, which is understandable considering the high-intensity usage over the past 6 months. However, the difference is not significant, and partly because realme C35 is optimized quite well for gaming, I also set the graphics level higher than 6 months ago.

Hence, with its excellent performance and long-lasting battery life, I believe realme C35 can provide you with incredibly fantastic gaming experiences!

How much does realme C35 cost? Is it worth buying?

Despite having been used for 6 months, the performance of realme C35 is still quite well-optimized, demonstrating its ability to operate for extended periods.
