Step 2: At the top right corner, click on the profile icon. 

Step 3: Click on 'Profile'. 

Step 4: Continue by selecting 'Edit Profile'.

Step 5: Scroll down to the bottom and select Temporarily Disable Account (Temporarily disable my account) as shown in the image below.

Step 6: On the next interface, scroll down, choose a reason to temporarily disable your Instagram account > enter your password and click on 'Temporarily Disable Account' to confirm the process.

2. Permanently Delete Your Instagram Account

Step 1: To permanently delete your Instagram account, access HERE.

Step 3: Enter your password in the box and press 'Delete x' (x is your account name).
