Both 45B1U6900C and 45B1U6900CH versions will feature a VA panel, 5120 x 1440 pixel resolution, and a 32:9 aspect ratio. They offer a refresh rate of 75Hz and a maximum brightness of up to 450 nits. Additionally, Philips' new ultra-wide curved monitor supports a wide color gamut of up to 107% DCI-P3, 8-bit color depth, DisplayHDR 400 support, and a GTG response time of just 4ms.
In the released images, both monitor versions come with a flexible adjustable stand. They can tilt from 5 to 15 degrees and swivel left and right up to 45 degrees. Moreover, the left side of the monitor also integrates a pop-up hanger mechanism.
In terms of connectivity, both 45B1U6900C and 45B1U6900CH are equipped with two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port supporting 100W power delivery with increasingly popular DisplayPort Alt mode. Additionally, the monitor supports a Gigabit LAN port, KVM switch, and 4 USB-A 3.2 ports for peripheral devices.
On the other hand, the 45B1U6900C version will feature a USB-B connection port, while the 45B1U6900CH version will be equipped with a pop-up integrated webcam on the top edge and noise-canceling microphone. A highly useful feature for users participating in online meetings or video calls.
Both versions support PiP and PbP features to maximize multitasking capabilities. In addition to the integrated on-screen controls, Philips also equips a remote control allowing users to quickly navigate menu options or adjust volume settings.
Finally, both 45B1U6900C and 45B1U6900CH monitor versions are listed by the company under the Curved Business Monitor 6000 series. However, the exact pricing and release date of the product are still unknown at this time.
