The dry season on Phu Quoc Island extends from around November to March of the following year, providing the ideal time for adventurous exploration, especially trekking journeys through Phu Quoc National Park.
Phu Quoc National Park – An impressive spot for trekking during the dry season on the pearl island

Phu Quoc National Park spans a total area of 31,422 hectares, situated within 6 communes: Cua Duong, Cua Can, Ganh Dau, Bai Thom, Ham Ninh, and partly in Duong To commune. The park comprises three main forest ecosystems: evergreen broad-leaved forest, mangrove forest, and coastal swamp forest, housing approximately 1,400 plant species and nearly 500 animal species.

Phu Quoc National Park is one of the few special-use forests nationwide managing all three functions including protection forests, forest restoration, and marine reserve areas. Despite its vast area, managing both forest and sea presents numerous challenges in forest protection, marine conservation, and biodiversity preservation.
