While climbing ranks together, SofM asks a question that leaves Zeros feeling down.
By now, the name Zeros is a familiar one in the League of Legends community. After a series of setbacks following Riot's global ban, the former SBTC Esports star has transitioned mostly to livestreaming, finding happiness alongside his beautiful girlfriend Yogurt. However, Zeros still knows how to make headlines, as demonstrated in a recent gaming session with SofM.
During a ranked match in Korea, SofM and Zeros crossed paths and climbed the ranks effectively. However, seeing his junior take the game seriously, SofM asked, 'Which team are you training with?'
At this point, Zeros is momentarily speechless after his senior's question. With his global ban, Zeros has no chance of returning to professional League of Legends, not even for international competitions. Thus, SofM's question teases Zeros but also touches upon the pain of the former talented yet flawed player.
However, it's understandable that SofM meant no harm with his question. He and Zeros are quite close and often play games together. Both regularly interact on social media platforms. Moreover, SofM consistently shows interest in the local League of Legends scene and offers valuable advice to younger players if asked, such as when he advised Slayder on his plans to compete in China.
Regarding Zeros, his ambition to return to the professional League of Legends arena may not be as strong as when he first received his ban. However, focusing on streaming and minimizing drama and controversies seems to be the right direction for Zeros. For his fans and Vietnamese League of Legends enthusiasts, the name Zeros no longer being associated with drama marks a significant change for this former superstar.
