Exploring Cat Ba: Where to Find Delicious, Affordable Eats?
Quang Tung Seafood Restaurant

Quang Tung Seafood Restaurant Cat Ba
Quang Tung Seafood Restaurant is a renowned dining spot on Cat Ba Island known for its fresh seafood dishes. Upon arriving on the island, I immediately sought out a good seafood restaurant near my hotel. As I wandered around, I noticed that Quang Tung Restaurant was busier than the others nearby, so I decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint! The seafood dishes here are exceptionally fresh and delicious, with just the right amount of seasoning, and the prices are reasonable.
Phuong Nhung Restaurant

Phuong Nhung Restaurant Cat Ba
Phuong Nhung Restaurant is the second eatery I found delicious on Cat Ba Island. This restaurant specializes in serving dishes like pho, noodles, fried rice, spring rolls, sandwiches, and some seafood dishes such as crab, shrimp, squid, and stingray. Since I didn't have any seafood, I can't comment on those dishes. I only had fried rice, spring rolls, sour clam soup, and pho. All the dishes I tried were delicious, especially the beef pho with its fragrant and flavorful broth. If you get the chance, don't miss out on this delicious and affordable eatery on Cat Ba Island.
Popular Eatery: 559 Hung Manh Floating Restaurant

Popular Floating Eatery: 559 Hung Manh Floating Restaurant Cat Ba
559 Hung Manh Floating Restaurant is a renowned dining spot on Cat Ba Island that made a strong impression on me because it was my first time dining at a floating restaurant. I was a bit hesitant at first due to a previous incident of a floating restaurant sinking somewhere in the South, but I decided to try it out for the experience. Overall, I found dining at 559 Floating Restaurant quite satisfying, although the prices were slightly higher compared to restaurants on land. One unique aspect is the slight swaying sensation while moving around. If you've never dined at a floating restaurant before, it's definitely worth a try for a fun experience, don't you think?

Green Mango Restaurant

Green Mango Restaurant Cat Ba
Green Mango Restaurant offers a fusion of Asian and European cuisine, with a focus on European dishes such as pizza, steak, hamburger, egg banh mi, and french fries. I visited here to try some Western dishes after having seafood and Vietnamese noodles consecutively. We ordered pizza, steak, and french fries. Trying something new once in a while, we found the food delicious. My husband and I finished everything quickly but still felt a bit hungry, so we decided to have a cup of tea afterward. Overall, the food here is tasty, not too expensive but not cheap either, and the portions are not large because Westerners don't eat as much as we do. The presentation of the dishes is beautiful, even a small piece of meat is placed on a large plate with decorative garnishes around, making it appetizing.
