1. Portraying the Celestial Avian: Retelling the Story of the Juicy Peach Tree - Sample 1
Greetings, dear audience. I am the Celestial Avian, residing atop the Ngự Long Mountain for decades. Recently, someone asked me, 'Have you ever witnessed something unforgettable?' And indeed, I have. As promised, today I shall narrate that tale in full detail.
Years ago, while soaring over a certain village, I stumbled upon a family in the midst of relocating. Their possessions were meager, consisting of only a few garments and essential items. I observed a well-groomed gentleman, presumably the elder brother, directing the move with precision. Little did I know, he was relegating his younger sibling to a separate dwelling, fearing competition for resources. Orphaned at a young age, the two siblings had relied on each other for survival. Yet, upon his marriage, the elder brother underwent a transformation, growing lazier by the day.
After dividing the inheritance, the elder brother neglected to discuss land distribution. He monopolized everything and hired the poor as laborers. Meanwhile, the younger brother, having no land of his own, relied solely on the income from his few peach trees. Witnessing his plight, I resolved to help. I continuously flew to their house and plucked all the ripe golden peaches. However, they never once attempted to chase or scold me. Finally, when the last peach disappeared, the younger brother's wife lamented, 'Dear bird, what's left for our family's peach tree now? It's almost out of fruits!' Upon hearing this, I retorted, 'Eat one fruit, return a bag of gold, good fortune will unfold, carry it and behold!' Luckily, both the younger brother and his wife trusted my words. They filled a bag exactly the size of a small sack. The next day, as promised, I led them to the Wave Cave to collect gold, silver, and jewels. Being honest folks, they simply filled the bag and stopped. Thanks to this treasure, their family's fortune changed, and they became wealthy.
Everything went smoothly for about a month. It's unclear how they got wind of it, but the elder brother and his wife hurried to the younger brother's house to inquire. After hearing his account, they proposed a property exchange. The younger brother didn't hesitate and agreed.
'This fellow is truly greedy, cruel, and selfish,' I thought to myself. To teach him a lesson, I devised a plan identical to the previous one. Upon arriving to eat the fruit and advising them to fill a bag, he was overjoyed and ecstatic. He discussed with his wife about filling a bag three times larger than the previous one. Seeing this, I remained silent and directly escorted him to the Wave Cave. Once done, I led him back. When flying over the sea, a strong gust of wind blew like a hurricane, causing us to sway, and all the gold and silver fell into the sea. The elder brother, unable to maintain balance, tumbled from above.
I have punished the greedy, the selfish, and the excessively greedy individual. I hope that people will learn to live with love and compassion.

2. Portraying the Celestial Avian: Retelling the Story of the Peach Tree - Sample 2
Having lived for several decades, I've witnessed countless tales—some happy, some sorrowful, some fortunate, and some unfortunate. Among them, one story remains etched in my memory, intertwined with the peach tree.
In a certain village, there were two orphaned siblings who relied on each other since childhood. They worked together, tended to their home, and led a peaceful, content life. However, upon getting married, the elder brother underwent a drastic change—becoming lazy and neglectful, no longer concerned with work. He even forced his younger brother's family to live separately in a dilapidated hut, lacking basic necessities.
Initially a kind and filial person, always respecting others, the younger brother followed whatever the elder brother instructed. When living separately, the younger brother's family faced even more hardships. With no fields to cultivate, they relied solely on the peach tree in front of their house. I thought to myself, 'How can someone be so cruel, sacrificing others' well-being for a few coins?' Despite the seemingly abundant peach harvest, selling them only yielded a few coins. It was impossible to make ends meet! Therefore, I decided to help the younger brother's family.
One morning, I flew from the nearby mountain to the field. I perched on a large tree branch, plucked clusters of ripe golden peaches, and devoured them. The sound of my wings echoed throughout the air, prompting the younger brother and his wife to rush outside. They saw me feasting on the ripe peaches but made no attempt to drive me away. For a month, as the peaches gradually diminished, the younger brother's wife grew increasingly distressed. Finally, before departing, I instructed them to prepare a large sack and promised to return early the next morning. True to my word, I arrived at their home as the sun rose. After ensuring everything was ready, I took off towards the South. Flying thousands of miles, I felt no fatigue but rather immense joy at helping a good person. I led the younger brother to a cave filled with gold, silver, and precious stones and told him to pick whatever he liked. He proved to be honest, straightforward, and modest, only filling the sack to its capacity. Since then, the younger brother's family has completely changed, becoming prosperous and affluent, with abundance filling their home.
I thought everything would go smoothly, but no, the greedy elder brother tempted the younger brother to exchange their assets. I decided, 'If you're going to do something good, do it thoroughly. We need to teach the elder brother a new lesson.' So, I planned everything just like before: eating peaches and advising them to prepare a sack. As expected, driven by greed and the desire for wealth, the elder brother prepared a bag three times the size of the previous one, resembling a basket. It was truly unbelievable. I escorted him to the same miraculous cave. After he finished picking, I escorted him back. Yesterday, I observed the sky and predicted significant weather changes today. Therefore, when encountering strong winds on the way back, I wasn't surprised. Utilizing the wind's force, I caused him to sway and fall into the sea. After that incident, I fell ill for a long time.
Through the story I narrate, I hope you will have a more righteous mindset. Cultivate virtues and ethics to become a kind and benevolent individual!
