Many speculate that this video is a segment cut from a major event that Apple planned to host in October or November 2022 - an event introducing the MacBook with M2 Pro and M2 Max chips.
According to a source on Twitter, the AR format files for the new generation MacBook Pro 14-inch and MacBook Pro 16-inch were created in October 2022, meaning about three months before Apple released the unveiling video.
Traditionally, every fall, Apple organizes an event (September) to unveil its latest iPhone and Apple Watch models. December is often speculated as the time for Apple to introduce new generation MacBooks and iPads.

The new MacBook Pro 14-inch and MacBook Pro 16-inch also support external display with a resolution of up to 8K, thanks to the advanced HDMI port. Additionally, the MacBook Pro 16-inch boasts the longest battery life ever compared to any previous generation MacBook.
This week, Apple also announced a new Mac mini, featuring a design similar to the previous generation but equipped with the M2 and M2 Pro chips. Currently, the new Mac mini and MacBook Pro are available for pre-order on Apple's website and will start reaching customers on 24/1 in the U.S.
