After Alien: Isolation, Amanda Ripley is making a return as the main protagonist in the new installment of the Alien film series. Additionally, Alien Blackout is set to release on Android and iOS this year, marking the first mobile game in the Alien series for mobile devices.

Alien: Blackout includes 7 gameplay levels, where player decisions will impact the game. The player's mission in Alien Blackout

is to protect as many crew members as possible. According to Eurogamer, the game is based on the story of Ellen Ripley's daughter, Amanda Ripley, in the popular Alien film series.

The game is being developed by Finnish game developers, Rival Games, who previously worked on Thief of Thieves for Xbox One and PC. A dedicated website for the game is set to launch soon. Most of the groups appearing in the game are products of the Weyland and Yutani corporations, specializing in producing extraterrestrial-branded products for the Alien universe.
