Once upon a time, there lived a lady named Hơ Bia. She was beautiful but exceedingly lazy, showing no affection for rice. One day, while eating, she clumsily spilled rice all over. Witnessing this, the rice questioned:
- You owe your beauty to rice, why then do you disdain us?
Enraged, Hơ Bia retorted:
- My beauty stems from the toil of my parents, not from you.
Hearing this, the rice became incensed. That very night, they collectively decided to vanish into the forest.
