- Steamed taro: 100g
- Shimeji mushrooms: 1 medium-sized bunch
- Lotus roots: 5 pieces
- Firm tofu: 1 block
- Cilantro (coriander): a little
- Shiitake mushrooms: 5 pieces
- Chopped chili peppers
- Iceberg lettuce
- Seasonings: Pepper, sugar, cooking oil, sesame oil, pickled mustard greens, soy sauce, vegetarian seasoning.
How to make fried vegetarian wontons:
Step 1: Prepare the ingredients

- Parboiled tofu squeezed and mashed, kneaded to make it chewy and formed into blocks.

- Soak and slice shimeji and shiitake mushrooms thinly.
- Wash and chop cilantro finely. Rinse iceberg lettuce, drain water.

- Spoon 1 teaspoon full of filling into a wonton wrapper, fold, seal the edges with a little water mixed with cornstarch. Avoid making them too large, as they will lose their taste when eaten.

Step 4: Fry the wontons

- Prepare a hot frying pan with oil, once the wontons are wrapped, fry them until golden and crispy, then remove and place on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
