1. What is the Present Perfect Tense in English?
The Present Perfect Tense (The Present Perfect Tense) describes an action or state that occurred at an unspecified point in the past or an action that began in the past and continues to the present.
Ex: We have talked before. (We have met and conversed before, but it's unclear when).
I have worked for Mytour for 1 year. (I have been working for Mytour for 1 year and still continue to do so).
2. How to Use the Present Perfect Tense in English
Đúng như tên gọi của nó, thì hiện tại hoàn thành được sử dụng để diễn tả một sự việc đã xảy ra trong quá khứ và vẫn còn đang tác động đến hiện tại. Cụ thể, nó được sử dụng cho 5 mục đích như sau:
2.1 Diễn tả hành động xảy ra tại một thời điểm không xác định trong quá khứ.
Ex: I have lost my key. (Tôi đã đánh mất chìa khóa và không rõ đã mất từ khi nào).
2.2 Diễn tả hành động đã xảy ra trong quá khứ và còn kéo dài tới hiện tại.
Ex: Mytour has been developed for nearly 10 years. (Mytour đã phát triển được gần 10 năm và vẫn đang tiếp tục lớn mạnh)
2.3 Diễn tả hành động diễn ra nhiều lần từ quá khứ đến hiện tại.

2.4 Diễn tả kinh nghiệm, trải nghiệm (thường đi kèm với "ever")

3. Công thức thì hiện tại hoàn thành
Thì hiện tại hoàn thành có cấu trúc chung là "have/has + Pii". Pii là động từ ở dạng phân từ hay còn gọi là động từ cột 3 trong bảng động từ bất quy tắc. Pii cũng chủ yếu được hình thành bằng cách thêm "-ed" vào sau động từ. Tuy nhiên, có tới 360 động từ bất quy tắc trong trường hợp này, đòi hỏi bạn phải tự học, tự ghi nhớ. Đây cũng là lý do tại sao nhiều người coi thì hiện tại hoàn thành là một trong những thì khó nhất trong tiếng Anh. Cấu trúc thì hiện tại hoàn thành được xác định như sau:
- Khẳng định: S + have/has + Pii
- Phủ định: S + have/has + not + Pii
- Nghi vấn: Have/has + S + Pii?
