The vehicle you're currently viewing is the Citroën My Ami Buggy - an incredibly intriguing and eye-catching concept car. It combines a 2-seater mini car with a bold, adventurous, and highly creative design. Citroën states that 'all children from 14 to 77 years old would want to add this car to their wishlist this Christmas season.' Let's see what this model has to offer!Despite being priced at 7,000 Euros and available for purchase, Citroën describes it solely as a concept car, meaning there's not much information on technical specs, but rather their 'ideas & spirit' they want to embody in this model. Earlier this year, Citroën introduced the Ami concept for cargo transportation, but now they've transformed the Ami into a fully electric mini car for off-road adventures, a vehicle that, once seen, even 'grown-ups' would want to write a letter to Santa Claus about. 😁
The Citroën My Ami Buggy Concept looks more rugged and sturdy than any other small car on the market; perhaps only new off-road racing cars could look more rugged than this model. Creativity in design can be seen in every corner; this concept car features a hood rack, headlights encased within steel frames, specialized MT off-road tires, large wheel arches, front bumper, and side protective bars, LED light bars along with a spare tire mounted on the hood, and so on... all contributing to an extremely 'Adventure' style for this ultra-compact car!
The Citroën My Ami Buggy Concept also features other off-road-inspired details such as reverse-opening doors and no glass; it's equipped with a roll-up waterproof cover for fixed installation in case of rain, a feature inspired by the Citroën Mehari.
Upon arrival and parking, the paint color of My Ami Buggy evokes the warm atmosphere of a campfire, emitting light with the off-road LED light bars and playing music on the integrated mobile speaker system in the car. All of these ideas are entirely practical; the French car manufacturer has thoroughly researched the preferences and 'emotions' of outdoor enthusiasts & campers.
Inside the car, Citroën doubles the layer of foam to create 2 'Advanced Comfort' seats that are comfortable, effectively absorbing the vibrations of challenging terrain. The compartments around the cabin can be removed and taken to the campsite or outdoor dining area. For example, a waist bag attached to the steering wheel with a magnet or a pair of convenient fabric bags at the car door.
The flexibility and charm of My Ami Buggy are also evident in many details such as a camera mount with a 1/4' screw allowing the driver to record their journey, and it's also compatible with various other accessories, attached at 4 different points around the car's cabin.
Additionally, the car features a smart phone holder right to the right of the steering wheel turning one's phone into an entertainment system and a separate holder on the dashboard to keep the mobile speaker in place throughout the trip.
Although the My Ami Buggy is just a concept car, it has proven to be highly practical while also being innovative, exciting, and fun. Many accessories of this concept car have been created using 3D printing technology, making them easily recyclable and contributing to environmental protection.
Citroën is one of the few car manufacturers today willing to pursue its quirky ideas, so it wouldn't be too surprising if some unique accessories of the My Ami Buggy appear in orders.
