Samsung is gearing up to unveil the Galaxy M40 in India on June 11th.
Alongside the specifications confirmed by Samsung, the complete specifications of the Galaxy M40 have recently been leaked. According to these leaks, the Galaxy M40 will feature a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution (2340 x 1080 pixels). The pixel density of the display will reach 409ppi. The device's display will have a small punch-hole in the top left corner for the front camera.
Instead of the Exynos chip, the Galaxy M40 will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chip along with 6GB of RAM. The device's storage capacity will be 128GB, with support for microSD cards. The device will run on Android 9 Pie out of the box and will have a 3,500mAh battery.
On the front side of the Galaxy M40 lies a 16MP camera nestled within a pinhole cutout. Meanwhile, on the back, there are three cameras including a 32MP primary camera, an 8MP wide-angle camera, and a 5MP depth sensor. The device supports dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, and still retains the 3.5mm headphone jack. At the rear of the device, there is a fingerprint sensor located below the camera cluster.
The pricing details for the Galaxy M40 are currently unclear. However, considering the Galaxy M30 with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM was sold at $259 in India, it's likely that the Galaxy M40 will be priced around $288 (approximately 6.7 million VND).
