After a period of operation, hard drives can lead to limited data reading and writing processes, which can cause the computer to hang. The cause may be hard drive fragmentation. Therefore, Mytour introduces software that can help alleviate this issue, namely UltraDefrag.
How to Prevent Hard Drive Fragmentation with UltraDefrag
If you haven't installed the software yet, you can download the latest version of UltraDefrag
(Note: UltraDefrag supports Vietnamese, so during installation, you should choose Vietnamese as the default language for ease of use).
Step 1: Click to select each partition on the hard drive to defragment (e.g., C, D, E...). Then click Operations/ Analyze (Or click on the magnifying glass icon on the toolbar) to let the program perform the defragmentation task.
Step 2: After the program finishes running, it will display a notification about the status of the hard disk.
Click on Operations. The program provides users with various modes to choose from, including:
- Defragmentation: This is the regular defragmentation mode.
- Quick Optimization: This is the defragmentation mode in a fast manner, which takes place quickly but doesn't achieve high results.
- Full Optimization: This is the most effective defragmentation mode but takes longer time.
From there, users can devise various options to defragment their hard drives.
To check the program's results, it's recommended to reuse the Analyze function.
