LCK commentators no longer have faith in T1.
In the LCK Summer 2022, when everyone thought Faker and his teammates could maintain an unbeaten record as they did in the previous Spring, a real shock occurred. T1 was defeated by Kwangdong Freecs - a true shock to the LCK community in particular and the League of Legends community in general. No one could have imagined that a team, seemingly drowning in extremely poor performances, could defeat the 'Invincible Legion' of LCK - T1.

However, if we overlook the loss to KDF, from MSI 2022 onwards, some of T1's issues have been revealed and exploited thoroughly by opponents. The most significant among them, the main reason leading to T1's defeats against Royal Never Give Up (at MSI 2022) and KDF (in LCK Summer 2022), lies in the champion draft phase. In both losses, T1 exposed weaknesses in team composition selection, allowing opponents to exploit them extensively.

And this could very well be a weakness that Gen.G Esports can exploit to secure victory against T1 in the upcoming Super Showdown of LCK Summer 2022. It's worth noting that Gen.G is also a team that consistently employs very 'unusual' but highly effective champion picks. The standout is Support Lehends with the champion Singed, which made the DWG KIA team 'suffer a defeat.'

For this reason, commentators on both the Korean and English channels of LCK no longer have faith in T1. According to a recent survey, all 8 commentators from these 2 LCK broadcasting channels have chosen Gen.G as the winning team in the upcoming Super Showdown on 07/08 (Vietnam time).

Thus, it can be seen that the defeat against KDF has gradually eroded T1's confidence in the eyes of the experts. Despite the subsequent victory against DRX, facing Gen.G is an entirely different scenario. Chovy and his teammates are currently undefeated in LCK Summer 2022, and their form is on a steep rise. Whether the analysts make accurate predictions or not, one thing is certain - T1 will encounter significant challenges in the upcoming Super Showdown.
