Starting from mid-April, tourists visiting Venice can now explore the renowned Procuratie Vecchie building, which has been closed to the public for over 500 years.

The
Procuratie Vecchie building stretches almost the entire northern side of St. Mark's Square and is one of the most photographed landmarks in Venice. Built in the 12th century, the building was destroyed by fire in 1512 and rebuilt in 1538 for politicians and royalty. It is also the longest building in Venice.
The top floor is open to visitors every day of the week except Tuesdays. Tourists can enter for free, but may need to pay to access exhibitions or concerts.
