Instructions for setting up restrictions to prohibit the use of a specific program in Windows 7

- You can only utilize the AppLocker feature to prohibit the use of a specific program on Windows 7 Ultimate and Enterprise editions.
Step 1: Click on the Start button and type gpedit.msc into the search box, then press Enter
Step 2: In the new window that appears, navigate to the following path
Computer Configuration > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Application Control Policies > AppLocker > Executable Rules
Step 3: Right-click in the right-hand column and select Create Default Rules
Step 8: Mark the File hash option in the new window and press Next.
Step 9: Select Browse File... to locate the program you want to restrict access to.
Step 10: Navigate to the path of the program you wish to lock, choose the .exe file of the program, and click Open. Here, Mytour locks the Unikey program.
Next, click Next.
