1. Remove the Hard Drive
If the issue with your computer doesn't involve the hard drive, removing it won't impact the repair process. You can do it yourself or have a technician do it for you. This way, all data on your hard drive will be absolutely protected.
Another option is to upload all your data to a cloud storage service. After the repair process is complete, you can download them and resume normal operations. Unlike the previous method, this approach may involve additional costs for renting storage services.

According to statistics, these are the two types of information cybercriminals are most interested in nowadays.
4. Create a Guest Account
In certain troubleshoot and fix scenarios where deep system access is unnecessary, consider proactively creating a guest account for repair personnel. For the main computer account, it's advisable to switch to highly secure passwords, even implementing two-factor authentication to reduce the risk ratio.
