Update on PUBG Mobile Esports 2024 Structure
PUBG Mobile's esports events in 2024 will be categorized into 4 tiers, with major tournaments like PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL) serving as the primary qualifying events to identify strong candidates for PMGC 2024.
PUBG Mobile National Championship and PMSL qualifiers will be categorized at level 3, while Club Open tournaments and third-party events in the region will be at level 4.
Top-tier tournaments will include internationally renowned events such as PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO), PMGC, and PMWI Mid-Season.
PMGO is the latest addition to global events and will be held in Brazil with a total prize pool of up to $500,000. The 2024 PMGO tournament will run from March to April. One of the most anticipated events, the PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2024, will take place in July in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a total prize pool of up to $3 million.
PMSL Kickoff
PMSL will serve as a regional tournament specifically for NA and will run from February to October 2024, featuring three stages: spring, summer, and fall. Other regions like EMEA, CSA, and the Americas will have only two seasons: spring (February to April) and fall (April to October). The decision to expand PMSL to other regions is a move to attract more new investors to PUBG Mobile Esports and reduce some of the organizing costs.
PUBG Mobile (PMGC) 2024
PMGC 2024 isn't just one of the largest tournaments, but also the most prestigious battleground in PUBG Mobile, where every player worldwide aspires to compete. Next year, this event will be held in the United Kingdom with a total prize pool of $3 million.
