Short Film 'Lost in the Mirror World,' recently introduced by PUBG Mobile, has enthralled the community with its intriguing storyline and vibrant depiction of the survival gaming genre
In mid-November, PUBG Mobile stepped into version 1.7, bringing exciting events and rewards. Notably, the player community warmly embraced the new game mode, Mirror Island, a collaboration between PUBG Mobile and Riot Games' Arcane. Players can assume the roles of four new characters from another world—Jinx, Vi, Caitlyn, and Jayce—to run and survive together
To further promote this exciting game mode, VNG has launched a short film titled 'Lost in the Mirror World' on December 7th. Set on Erangel Island, where a mysterious organization selects 100 random individuals to participate in a survival game. They must battle each other to become the last survivor. Four players with numbers 91, 92, 93, and 94 encounter each other and form a cohesive team, overcoming the challenges of the new world and confronting the mysterious forces behind everything
Currently, part 1 of the film has aired on PUBG Mobile VN's YouTube channel, receiving numerous positive responses. Just 12 hours after its release, the video garnered over 3,300 views and more than 300 praising comments. Many fans believe that this short film provides an opportunity to better understand the new game mode. Additionally, the film's compelling storyline, infused with PUBG Mobile's survival essence and incorporating familiar game modes like Zombie and Survival Till Dawn, has piqued the interest of the gaming community
This isn't the first time VNG, the publisher of PUBG Mobile in Vietnam, has used short films to promote its game. Previously, the community has watched short films like 'BOT 2.0' promoting update 1.5 or 'Yarilo's Peril' introducing the Plant Menace mode of update 1.6. It's evident that the release of these 'made in Vietnam' short films to introduce VNG's new PUBG Mobile updates is receiving significant support from players
