Compared to many other streets in Hanoi, Quang Trung street doesn't boast an abundance of eateries, but the ones here are both delicious and high-quality.
Quang Trung - a street with few eateries but each one is top-notch in Hanoi
1. Quang Trung's Bun Rieu
When it comes to delicious bun rieu in Hanoi, everyone knows about the bun rieu stall on Quang Trung street. Initially just a sidewalk stall, it gained immense popularity due to the quality and reasonable price of its bun bowls. The standout feature of the bowl here is the large, reddish-brown crab cakes, firm and prominent amidst the white of the noodles and the green of the fresh onions. The broth also has a distinctively clear taste, characteristic of authentic crab broth.

Due to its large number of customers, Quang Trung's bun rieu now has a well-organized establishment that operates all day to serve customers. In addition to bun rieu, the stall also sells snail vermicelli. The bowls here are truly generous, especially the mixed bowl with crab, pork, beef, ribs... everything served in sizable portions. Because of its generosity, prices here range from 45,000 to 55,000 VND per bowl, but in return, a bowl here ensures you a satisfyingly full meal, rather than a quick hunger fix like ordinary bun rieu or snail vermicelli.

2. O Xuân's Hue Beef Noodle Soup
O Xuân's Hue Beef Noodle Soup is essentially just a small eatery, mostly requiring customers to sit on the sidewalk, but being located in the central area and having a long-standing reputation, when it comes to delicious Hue beef noodle soup in Hanoi, this is a place that many people trust and recommend. The components of a bowl of Hue beef noodle soup here are similar to most other Hue beef noodle soup places, with thinly sliced boiled beef, pork knuckles, pork blood pudding, beef sausage, and crab sausage, but the portion is large and sufficient to fill one's stomach for a workday.

The accompanying meat pieces in the bowl of beef noodle soup here are quite delicious and skillfully prepared, the beef sausage is crispy, slightly sweet, with the characteristic spiciness of pepper, the beef slices are large but tender, the pork knuckle is only one piece but substantial, however, when eating, one has to use hands rather than utensils.

Other components like noodles and broth are also quite standard for authentic Hue beef noodle soup, the noodles are thick, chewy, the broth is clear, fragrant, and flavorful, although not overly rich. The accompanying lime is also sourced from the countryside, hence has a very distinctive fragrance.

However, compared to many other Hue beef noodle soup places in Hanoi, O Xuân's Hue Beef Noodle Soup is slightly pricier at 45,000 VND per regular bowl, and 65,000 VND per special bowl. The eatery operates from 8 am to 10 pm, besides noodles, they also offer grilled nem and some other Hue cakes.
3. Grilled Skewered Meat
Talking about good eateries on Quang Trung street, one cannot miss the grilled skewered meat stall near the intersection with Tran Hung Dao street. The grilled meat is perfectly cooked, enjoyed with crispy bread, accompanied by some tangy pickles – more than enough for a light evening meal. A skewer of grilled meat here costs 10,000 VND.

4. Clam Noodle Soup
