With just a pair of scissors, anyone can easily debone a chicken. Check out the method below!

Preparation:

- 1 whole chicken
- 1 specialized pair of scissors
- Cutting board
Procedure:
Step 1: Debone the wings

Flip the roast chicken with the back facing up, proceed to use scissors to cut into the joint of the chicken wings. First, trim a bit of meat at the joint, then firmly bend the wing down, and then use scissors to cut at the joint gap. Then gradually cut through the wing. Repeat the same process with the second wing.
Step 2: Debone the thighs

Pull the chicken thigh tightly, use scissors to cut gradually into the inside through the meat layer. When reaching the joint, use your hand to bend the thigh slightly to expose the joint, then use scissors to cut into the middle of the joint gap, cut firmly. When pulling through the joint, gradually cut through the meat of the thigh until finished. Repeat the same process with the second thigh.
Step 3: Debone the chicken body

Position the chicken upright, neck facing down. Use scissors to cut vertically from top to bottom to separate the back from the belly of the chicken. Repeat the same process on the other side. At this point, you will have the chicken back (spine) with the thigh and chicken belly.
Step 4: Separate the thighs

Use scissors to cut a line down the middle of the chicken belly to create 2 pieces of chicken thigh (the juiciest part of the chicken).
Step 5: Utilization and Preservation
Utilize chicken bones to make broth for various dishes such as soups, congee, or stew...
Chicken breast can be used for grilling, salads, stir-fries, Japanese dishes, pho, and various noodle dishes...
Chicken wings and thighs are great for frying, grilling, making soup, or preparing dishes like spicy lemongrass chicken, salt and pepper chicken, or crispy fried chicken...
Storage tip: If you have leftover fresh chicken parts, put them in a ziplock bag, label it with the name of the chicken part, the storage date, and store it in the freezer. This way, you can easily find them when needed.
