Coconut jelly is a beloved summer treat, and these recipes are simple to make, ensuring hygiene and flavor in every bite!
1. Coconut Jelly with a Twist
Ingredients for Coconut Jelly Recipe:
- 3 young coconuts;
- 1 can of coconut milk (or fresh coconut milk);
- 1 packet of agar agar powder (25g);
- White sugar: 10g;
- Fresh milk: 10ml;
- Vanilla extract: 1 tube.
Steps to Make Coconut Jelly
Step 1: Cut about 1/4 of a coconut horizontally to extract the water. Mix this water with ½ bowl of filtered water and agar agar powder. Then cook over medium heat. While cooking, stir constantly to prevent the agar agar from clumping.
Step 2: Divide the cooked agar agar mixture into 2 parts. Mix one half with squeezed coconut milk and bring to a boil. While boiling, add fresh milk and ½ cup of water. Continue cooking the remaining agar agar mixture and add a little vanilla for aroma.
Step 3: Once the coconut halves are dry, retain the lid. Pour the coconut agar agar mixture with vanilla into each coconut half. When this layer is slightly set, pour the remaining coconut agar agar mixture on top. Allow to cool completely, cover with the lid, and refrigerate. Enjoy the coconut jelly when chilled for a tastier treat.

Note: While waiting for the coconut agar agar with vanilla layer to cool, continue cooking the coconut agar agar mixture over low heat and stir constantly to prevent it from solidifying. Work quickly to ensure a beautiful agar agar layer.
