For images with high resolution, using them as computer wallpapers may result in uneven display, requiring resizing to match the computer's resolution. What if you don't have any image editing software installed on your computer? However, you can easily resize images without software through the following tutorial.
1. Utilize the default Paint software
Step 1: Open the image you want to resize with Paint software by right-clicking on the image and selecting Open with => Paint.
Step 2: Choose the Image => Resize option.
Step 3: In the Resize and Skew dialog box, the By (1) option allows you to resize the image by percentage or pixels. To change the width and height of the image, adjust the values in the Horizontal and Vertical sections (2). The Maintain aspect ratio (3) option enables resizing without distortion due to incorrect ratios. Then click OK (4) to complete the process.
2. Utilize the online image resizing tool
To resize images online, we will use the ResizeImage Online tool. Visit the website here: https://resizeimage.net/
Step 1: After accessing the website, click on the Upload an Image section.
Step 2: Once the image upload process is successful, scroll down the website and locate the Resize your Image section. Firstly, check the box next to Keep Aspect Ratio (1) to prevent image distortion during resizing. Then, drag the slider (2) left or right to adjust the image size.
Step 3: Continue scrolling down the website. Choose the image format in the Select the output image format (1) section, adjust image quality in the Optimize your image (2) section. Once settings are complete, click on Resize Image (3).
Step 4: After successfully resizing the image, click on Download Image to download the image.
