Step 1: Open Telegram, go to Settings
=> Under Account, tap on the phone number.
Step 2: Select Change Number => Enter New Phone Number => Fill in the Activation Code sent.

Step 1: Open Telegram, choose the three horizontal bars icon => Go to Settings.

Step 2: Under Account, tap on phone number => Select Change Number.
Step 3: Press Change => Choose country, enter New Phone Number => Click arrow icon.
Step 4: Press Yes => Enter Activation Code sent to the new phone number to complete the Telegram phone number change.
After updating and changing your phone number on Telegram, your friends and family will see your new phone number if they have it saved in their contacts or you can modify settings to disable hide phone number on Telegram making it easier for friends to view your updated contact information.
