You may not be aware that TikTok and Instagram apps can connect, making sharing your videos easier than ever.
1. Add your Instagram account to TikTok
Step 1: Open TikTok and tap on your profile at the bottom right corner, then select Edit Profile.
Step 2: Scroll to the bottom of the profile editing page, then click on the Add Instagram to your profile line.
Step 3: Sign in to your Instagram account, then select Allow when prompted with the verification question.
Your Instagram account is now linked to TikTok. You can start sharing your videos directly from TikTok to Instagram without the need to save and upload them as usual.
2. How to Share TikTok Videos on Instagram
Step 1: Open TikTok and go to your profile, then tap on the video you want to share.
Step 2: Tap on the three dots at the bottom right corner >> choose Instagram.
Step 3: If prompted to open Instagram, select Open. On the next screen, choose the location you want to post the video: Feed or Stories (post, reels).
Step 4: If selecting Stories, you will be taken to the New Post screen. Here, use the double arrow icon to adjust the video size if desired.
Press Next (top right corner) to proceed to the next step.
Step 5: Choose the type of place you want to post the video, including Post or Reels. You can choose both by simply tapping the circle next to them. Select Continue.
Step 6: Select a filter or trim the video to make it perfect. Press Next when done.
Step 7: On the final screen, set some necessary information like captions, tag others, and even share on Facebook. Press Share when you're ready.
