POCO, a subsidiary of Xiaomi, recently introduced a new model in the Vietnamese market called POCO F5 Pro. This is a higher-end version within the F5 series, with only the Pro version being officially sold by Xiaomi in Vietnam, while the standard version is not.

Although it may seem like a new product from the POCO brand,
POCO F5 Prois essentially a rebranded version of the standard Redmi K60. Therefore, in terms of design and hardware, these two devices are almost identical. In this article, Mytour presents a quick hands-on experience with the POCO F5 Pro, a device that promises to be one of the smartphones worth buying in the over 10 million dong segment.
POCO F5 Pro's packaging adopts a rather simple and familiar approach, consistent with the tradition of
by including a fast charger, USB-C cable, and a transparent protective case. All of them come in white.

Being a rebranded version of the Redmi K60, the POCO F5 Pro features a relatively fresh appearance, with a glossy curved glass back and sturdy plastic frame. The official Vietnamese version offers two color options: white and black.

The rear of the POCO F5 Pro stands out with a unique camera system designed by Xiaomi, consisting of three lenses: a 64MP wide, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro. Although lacking Leica's collaboration found in Xiaomi's flagship lineup, these cameras cater to performance-oriented users. Given its focus on performance, users shouldn't expect exceptional photo quality from POCO or Redmi devices.

On the front, POCO equips the F5 Pro with a 6.67-inch OLED display featuring 12-bit depth and capable of displaying nearly 70 billion different colors. This display adopts a punch-hole design housing a 16MP selfie camera, offering QHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1400 nits. The display quality is excellent, and the device also includes an optical under-display fingerprint sensor for convenient usage.

In terms of performance, the POCO F5 Pro is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chip, a flagship processor from the latter half of last year, fully capable of meeting consumers' demands for heavy gaming. The device comes with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM paired with 256GB of storage. The battery capacity has been reduced from 5500mAh on the Redmi K60 to 5160mAh on the POCO F5 Pro, but it still supports 67W fast charging.

Below are the performance benchmarks for the POCO F5 Pro from AnTuTu Benchmark, Geekbench 6, and 3DMark Stress Test. Stay tuned for Mytour's upcoming review focusing on gaming performance with this device.
As a POCO device, the F5 Pro runs on the MIUI for POCO interface, based on the latest Android 13, with Google apps as default and POCO launcher as the default launcher.

In terms of pricing, the POCO F5 Pro is available in the Vietnamese market with a starting price of 12,990,000 VND for the 8GB RAM variant. The 12GB RAM option is priced at 13,990,000 VND. These prices are quite reasonable considering the powerful hardware configuration, beautiful display, and robust battery of this device.
