How to Create Folders Using an Excel Sheet
To instantly create multiple folders, follow these steps carefully.
Step 1: Open your Excel file with the list > Next to the first cell, type md 'folder name'.
- For example, md 'John Doe'
Step 2: Press Ctrl + E to generate the names of the subsequent Folders below > Then highlight the Folder names column, press Ctrl + C to copy
Step 3: Navigate to where you want to store those Folders, right-click on any empty space > Select New > Choose Text Document.
Step 4: Open the Text Document > Press Ctrl + V to paste all the previously copied Folder names.
Step 5: Select File > Select Save or use the shortcut CTRL + S to save your changes.
Step 6: Rename the Text Document file to a file with the .bat extension.
Step 7: Finally, execute the .bat file to achieve the desired outcome.
